A Creative Lent

As mentioned this past Sunday, we had a lovely little mini-retreat on Saturday.  We pondered the links between spirituality and creativity and saw our Lenten Journey in new ways.  And then we played a little with paint, creating our own icons to meditate upon.

You'll find attached to this post two downloads.  One is from Ralph Peter's notes and the other is from Cathie Wright and offers some teaching about practicing Visio Divina, creating your own Vision Statement and the meaning behind some of the flowers often used in Christian symbols.  Who knew dandelions were so meaningful!
