There are a variety of ways people can be involved in Sunday morning worship. To enjoy our traditional ways of worship in the Anglican church, we require many lay people to be involved. We'll be talking about this more during the fall, but we encourage you to prayerfully consider how you might be involved yourself. Try something new, switch roles, or shadow someone for a bit. Here are the many ways you could be involved:
Reading a Scripture Passage
Helping at the front as a Server
Sidesperson - welcoming and directing people, taking up the offering
Counter - staying after the service to count the offering
Coffee - preparing coffee & snacks after church for fellowship time
Chancel guild - helping behind the scenes to set up and clean up around services
and many more.
If you are thinking about this, please speak directly to Ruthanne, our priest.
