Anglican Diocese of Toronto Policy on Marriage
On May 31st, 2020, the Diocese of Toronto published it's statement on the Marriage Policy that both the diocese and the priest's licensed within this diocese will now follow. In short, it allows any priest who feels called to preside at the wedding of a same-sex couple to do so, and any priest that does not feel called will not be compelled to do so.

This is Good News! It is good news for many reasons and when we are able to return to gathering and being in conversation with each other, we will continue our own conversations at Ascension so that we can continue to move more fully to being a welcoming and all embracing community, that God's love can and will be made known to all who open their hearts.
