On a very snowy February 28th in 1869, the good people of the parish church of Ascension, which had been regularly meeting in people's homes to start, and then other churches, held their first church service in their own church sanctuary. Now, 150 years later, hopefully on a not very snowy day, we will mark and celebrate this special anniversary.
Join us this Sunday for special prayers through our service, and for a historical presentation by our own Paul Archulus during coffee hour. A thank you to Ross Etherington who brought this anniversary to our attention.
