This coming Wednesday Ascension will be open for another
Sweet Hour of Prayer time. All are welcome to come for the
hour or to drop in for a shorter time of meditation and prayer.
This week there will be an opportunity to learn about walking
and praying labyrinths. Labyrinths are an ancient practice of
taking a personal mini pilgrimage. An outward journey
reflecting an inward journey, a spiritual exercise.
A labyrinth is not a maze. There are no dead ends or wrong
turns. The path leads one to the centre and the same path
returns to the outside.
Labyrinths can be large and outside or inside or even held in
your hand.
So, you are invited to come this Wednesday and spend time
in the church and to try a labyrinth walk.
