Opening Hymn Be Thou My Vision Link to Hymn
Gathering of the Community
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of us, now and evermore. Amen
Glory to God
Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth.
Lord God, heavenly king, almighty God and Father,
we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory.
Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God,
you take away the sin of the world: have mercy on us;
you are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer.
For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord,
you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit,
in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
Collect
Let us pray.
Almighty God, you have made us for yourself, and our hearts are restless until they find their rest in you. May we find peace in your service, and in the world to come, see you face to face; through Jesus Christ our Lord, who lives and reigns with you and the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen

An Affirmation of Faith
Our Lord Jesus Christ said: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: you shall love your neighbour as yourself

The Offertory Prayer
Father, your word creates in us a yearning for your kingdom. Receive all we offer you this day, and keep us in your peace; for the sake of Jesus Christ the Lord.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, For ever and forever. Amen.
Closing Hymn - O God, Our Help in Ages Past Link to Hymn
Blessing
May the peace of God, that passes all understanding
Keep your hearts and minds in the knowledge and love of God,
And of his Son Jesus Christ our Lord:
And may the blessing of God almighty,
The Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit
Be amongst us and remain with us always. Amen.
