Opening Hymn How Firm a Foundation Link to Hymn
Gathering of the Community
May the grace of our Lord Jesus Christ, and the love of God and the fellowship of the Holy Spirit be with all of us, now and evermore. Amen
Glory to God
Glory to God in the highest, and peace to his people on earth.
Lord God, heavenly king, almighty God and Father,
we worship you, we give you thanks, we praise you for your glory.
Lord Jesus Christ, only Son of the Father, Lord God, Lamb of God,
you take away the sin of the world: have mercy on us;
you are seated at the right hand of the Father: receive our prayer.
For you alone are the Holy One, you alone are the Lord,
you alone are the Most High, Jesus Christ, with the Holy Spirit,
in the glory of God the Father. Amen.
Collect
Let us pray.
Lord of living waters you save us from the flood of violence and despair: reach out to us when faith is weak, when we are going under and make us unafraid to walk with you; through Jesus Christ, in whom we are raised. Amen.

An Affirmation of Faith
Our Lord Jesus Christ said: Hear, O Israel, the Lord our God is one Lord, and you shall love the Lord your God with all your heart, and with all your soul, and with all your mind and with all your strength. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like it: you shall love your neighbour as yourself.

The Offertory Prayer
God of blessings, you extend your hand into our lives bearing good gifts for us today. Accept all we offer you for it is of your own that we give. This we ask in the name of Jesus Christ the Lord.
The Lord’s Prayer
Our Father who art in heaven, hallowed be thy name,
thy kingdom come, thy will be done, on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread.
And forgive us our trespasses, as we forgive those who trespass against us.
And lead us not into temptation, but deliver us from evil.
For thine is the kingdom, the power, and the glory, For ever and forever. Amen.
Doxology
Glory to God, whose power, working in us, can do infinitely more than we could ask or imagine. Glory to God, from generation to generation, in the Church and in Christ Jesus, for ever and ever. Amen
Closing Hymn - Praise to the Lord, the Almighty Link to Hymn
Blessing
The Light of God surrounds you.
The Love of God enfolds you.
The power of God protects you.
The presence of God watches over you.
For wherever you are, God is.
And may the blessing of God Almighty, the Father, the Son and the Holy Spirit Be amongst us and remain with us always. Amen.
