A Note Of Support

I support the movement of the Holy Spirit.

I support Ruthanne practicing self-care over the next couple of weeks as she approaches her annual vacation time.

I support you, the people of Church of the Ascension for the love and kindness you show to each other and to your clergy.

I support the ongoing ministry that happens among this beautiful community of believers.

In response to Ruthanne’s letter I would like to say how blessed I feel (blessed by the same marvelous and mysterious Holy Spirit) to be your curate at this time.  As I am able, it will be my joy to ensure that priestly ministry continues here at Ascension until Ruthanne returns from her holiday and I begin my own in mid-August. To this end I remind you:

We will continue to produce a Service of Worship, complete with a sermon, each week.

We will continue to have Priest on the Lawn each week.

A Newsletter will be sent out weekly containing updates and articles of interest.

I will work in my office at the church each Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday from 10:00 am till 3:00 pm. This will me to respond to parish needs as they arise while respecting all Covid-19 protocols for safety.

In closing I ask for your support. I ask that you join me in holding this beautiful family of faith in your prayers. Pray for Ruthanne and her family, pray for one another and pray for myself.
